The process
Pre-Wedding
A wedding day should be so deeply inspired by who you are and what you love that it is a true reflection of the two of you (and not necessarily what you think you should do because of traditions or the expectations of others). Most important to me, is allowing your story to shine through for exactly what it is- a day about the two of you. My goal is to document your wedding in a natural, organic and artistic way, so that you can allow yourself permission to truly show up, unapologetically. Whatever your entire day looks like, I’d love capture your every moment. Offering you a space where you can take a deep breath & naturally be yourself is my ultimate goal.

Pre-Wedding
When you have booked my services, I will send you a questionnaire for you and your partner to fill out. This will be an outline for the day and will give us a good idea of what is important to you and what you want to capture the most. I am a strong advocate for hiring a wedding planner as the task of planning a wedding can be very daunting and overwhelming. I have worked with some wonderful wedding planners in the past and they are AMAZING at their jobs. However, if you are not planning on hiring a wedding planner, I will send you three different wedding schedule templates, based on the packages I offer, so that you can fill in your details and the day will go as smoothly as possible! The templates ensure that there is enough buffer time between key parts so that your day has smooth transitions and feels unhurried.

Wedding Day
When it comes time for the actual wedding day, all you have to do is show up! While there are bound to be some hiccups throughout the day, I am a very go-with-the-flow kind of person so you will be in good hands! I also show up with multiple cameras, SD cards, hard drives, flashes and usually a bottle of champs to celebrate! I am here to capture all of the special moments that will be apart of your day and to capture these as authentically as possible. Let's make some magic together and document the best day of your lives!

The Experience
This is not about awkward photos, but about an experience and having an enjoyable time together. I want to get creative and make something beautiful with you so that you can have something you can forever look back on. Offering you a space where you can take a deep breath and naturally be yourself is my ultimate goal. We'll chat about your vision and how to make that shine through in your photos. The easiest way to take the pressure off – make it a date! Seriously. Treat our time together like a date (I shall be the third wheel); a self-date, or for you and your partner. This photoshoot is as much about cultivating an experience, as it is about taking beautiful photos because the truth is, the two go hand in hand. I promise I'm not that photographer who's going to tell you to do something you're not up for, it's just not my vibe.

The Steps
When you reach out to me to book your session, we will decide on a package and location. I will also send you, if you'd like, a curated Pinterest board with outfit inspiration to help ensure the overall cohesive look we are going for with the session. My promise is that each and every person coming to work with me, will be doing exactly that. Working WITH me. Together. A team. I need you just as must as you need me, in order to plan something that is going to perfectly reflect you as a person or couple. Everyone is so different, and I want to get to know you. Let's go to your favourite place and create a deeper meaning behind these images.

Q1. Will you help with the planning?
Let me just SAY- I have your back and am open to anything! I want this session to represent who you are and what you love. There are so many styles of sessions we could organize, so let’s first chat about your vision- whether this is documenting you in the comfort and familiarity of your home, exploring some place new, or doing something totally out of the box!
Q2. How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 1- 2 months prior for regular shoots, and 6 months- 1 year prior to your elopement/wedding. Of course these are general guidelines so please feel free to reach out at any time and we will see when I can fit you in.
Q3. Do you require a retainer?
Yes! I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Weddings/elopements require a 30% non-refundable deposit down with the remainder due at least 45 days before the day of your wedding. Payment plans are available upon request!
Q4. When will we receive our photos?
Depending on the time of year, regular sessions will be delivered within 4 weeks. For weddings, you will receive a sneak peek gallery within a week of your wedding and the full gallery will be delivered within 8 weeks.
Q5. What should I/we wear to our session?
I would love to send you some inspiration! When requested, I curate a Pinterest board for you, completely dependant on what you are after & the vibe you are going for. I’d be more than happy to share!
Q6. Can we meet before our wedding?
I always schedule client meetings so I can get to know you two! If you are in the area, I'd love to grab a coffee and go over everything, and just get to know you better. Otherwise, I'm more than happy to make it a zoom date.
Q7. Do you travel?
I’d be silly to say no. This world has FAR too many places that my heart is dying to explore. I’m open to travel near or far, up or down. Point to it on the map, and let's have a chat about what this all entails!
Keep in mind that any location that is more than a 30-minute drive from Horseshoe Valley, Ontario, will incur a travel fee. Please reach out to inquire about fees to your location!
